Property Description
10.28-Acre Perdue Turkey Farm — Lawrence County, Indiana Here’s a farm worth looking at if you’re wanting to get into the turkey business or add to your current operation. Located in Lawrence County, Indiana, this 10.28-acre Perdue turkey farm includes four growout barns with 80,000 square feet of growout space, plus one double brooder totaling 20,000 square feet. A lot of updating has already been done. The operation has been rewired with new Rotem RBU-27 controllers and has new feed lines, newer Impex drinkers with 120 drinkers per barn, and a new chlorination system. Every fan has new tensioners and belts. Two wells and natural gas round out the setup. Concrete at the back of the barns makes cleanout handy—just push into the manure barns. One manure barn is partially finished, with the intent of converting it into a garage. There’s been a lot of work put into this farm, and it’s being offered as a turnkey operation. Come look over the barns, walk through the updates, and see how it matches up with your dreams of being a Farmer !!
